Rock Wall with Patterns

Sometimes I like the simplicity of a simple rock wall. Finding and following the patterns that flow over them helps me focus and recenter.

Recently, I visited a friend who polishes rocks and sells them. I took an interest in them and decided I wanted to create a 'wall of rocks' with my own pattern. So, I sat down and created what you see.

Rocks, to me, have special significance because they are semi-permanent. They'll be here long after we're gone but, while we are here, they can serve as a reminder that resilience is something we should strive for. And, like the rocks on this canvas, we can be tough while also being beautiful.

I've been told that people love the way the rocks seem to jump off the canvas or seem to rise beneath acrylic as if they were actual rocks in 3D.
