Painted Sky

"Sunsets are a gentle reminder that no matter the storms we face, each day has the promise to close with breathtaking beauty. They are like glimpses into a heavenly realm, where the sky paints a masterpiece just for us, offering peace and hope as night falls."

I love the way this impasto-style sunset turned out. Unlike the most of my acrylic paintings which are smooth, this one you can actually feel the grit. I did that on purpose because I know many, many people have children whose first inclination when it comes to being introduced to new things is to touch them. Touching is also one of the primary reasons my canvases have a solid backing - little fingers are notorious for 'poking through' things.

So, with this, not only will you, as an adult, be able to enjoy a beautiful sunset, your child will too. I'm going to make certain that each print feels as close to the original painting as possible.

Note: Acrylic Glass will NOT have a gritty texture.
