I created this for a young lady who was currently in the hospital. She has two adorable highland calves waiting for her at home, named Highdee and Haythere. At the time of this painting there were less than 6 months old and full of personality.

I painted Highdee and Haythere standing side by side in a grassy field dotted with daisies. Highdee is sporting a cute brown hat and boots, while Haythere has a charming pink bow on her head. Their shaggy fur and playful expressions were meant to bring a bit of joy and comfort to their owner while she was away from them.

Creating this piece was a heartfelt project for me. I wanted to bring a smile to her face and remind her of the love and warmth waiting for her at home. She called me and told me... I succeeded! I hope these cows make your space warm and sweet.
