This rose was made after I'd accidentally taken a photograph and failed to adjust the focal length. I love happy accidents.

The photograph was blurry so I snapped another photo of it and her sister (a Pink Rose with Sun Bursts, also available here) and made adjustments that showed how the rose was presented to me through my camera lens. By utilizing fractal and other brushes, I was able to highlight certain parts while muting others.
