The University of South Alabama is known for a lot of things but I doubt that mushrooms are one of them - at least not on the outside of their school's halls and laboratories. But, that's where I found these nearly translucent fungi.

Sometimes I go for walks on the trails by the campus. One early morning, just as the sun was coming up, I saw these about 30 feet off the trail. So, I slipped and slid down a small ravine, laid down on the ground and, with my iPhone, took a photo of them. Then, when I had time, this is how I interpreted what I'd photographed!
