Pheasant Run Abstract

Have you ever seen something that just grabs your attention because it’s filled with both fun and anticipation? That’s exactly how this abstract piece came to be.

Picture this: a thicket where several pheasants were hanging out, suddenly invaded by a hunting dog. Most of the birds took to the air, but one decided a ground chase would be more exciting. For about 20 or 30 seconds, it was like watching a real-life cartoon—think Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote. The pheasant darted around, dodging this way and that, so quick and agile that the dog lost sight (and scent) of it. Eventually, the bird simply ran away, and just when I thought it couldn’t fly, it soared into the air and circled back, flying right over the dog.
