While waiting for my son to arrive, I knelt beside a puddle in the driveway of the lady we were helping. Initially drawn to the reflection of a yellow daisy, I soon noticed that as I swayed, other flowers came into view. It was a beautiful, ever-changing scene. A bee buzzed past my face, causing me to dodge and lose my balance. My hand slapped the edge of the puddle, creating ripples and leaving small bubbles floating on the water.

This artwork is a mashup of that moment, capturing the fleeting beauty and the delicate interplay of reflections, ripples, and bubbles.

This is one of the few mixed media works I've done that integrates photography and paint into a single piece.
