Horses

The love of horses is almost universal. It might because because they are, at the same time, both elegant and wild. Even a domesticated horse is a very powerful being. But, a horse is a horse unless, of course, the horse is a pony.

Did you know that height (not might or age) separates a horse from a pony? Or that the height of a horse is measured in 'hands' (4-inches)? Horses hold a special place in my heart and in the ministry I support. They have helped me come to terms with my disability and have helped everyone from a 4 year old child and a 73 year old veteran who also have special needs lead more productive lives.
