Art For Children

When it comes to kids, I know the love of art starts young. Whether it's a story about puppies and their person, a unicorn who has lost its way, a giraffe in the wilds of Africa, a baby deer who befriends other forest animals or a thousand other stories, art can help them become 'real.' 

Since children aren't usually able to read books, depiction of scenes or of a main character really helps solidify the stories they are told. I still remember an art print of a clumsy colt named "Gidappy." That was 55 years ago.
