I didn't realize it until I presented this to one of my family members but my dad used to give a rose like this to my mom because it's her favorite flower.

Done in a watercolor style, I fell in 'deep like' with this creation almost from the moment I started creating it from the center out. It took a lot of patient to created the layers of petals in this flower. I'm not as good as nature at creating art but I tried.

This flower, with it's soft yellow, deep orange and white petals surrounded by green and shaded lightly makes a wonderful addition to a drawing room, a bedroom or even a study.
