Trace the Mouse

When I was working on this piece, I wanted to capture a moment of pure, unfiltered joy. I imagined this little mouse finding an old swing in a quiet corner of a garden, and just going for it. The way the sunlight filters through the leaves, casting those lovely dappled shadows, it felt like the perfect backdrop for such a whimsical scene.

I used soft watercolors to give it that dreamy, almost nostalgic feel. And that expression on the mouse’s face? That’s my favorite part. It’s like you can almost hear the tiny giggles and feel the gentle breeze. Every time I look at it, it brings a smile to my face, and I hope it does the same for you.
