Sweet Kisses

This is one of my all-time favorite paintings. It’s a deeply personal piece for me because it reflects the many forms fatherhood can take. - Since I wanted to capture the incredible diversity of fathers and our kids - each sharing a sweet kiss - I poured a lot of time and heart into it. I hope when you look at it, you see a bit of your own story or that of someone you love. It's all about those cherished, everyday moments that mean the world to us.,
 
As fathers, each of us have the incredible responsibility and opportunity to show our children what a 'real' man does and who he is. One of the best rewards you'll get is the sweet, messy, sticky, even slobbery kisses from those who look up to you. Even when your faced with pressures of work, finances, family and whatever else comes your way, I hope you'll cherish every moment with your child. Your children trust you with every fiber of their being and each hug, smile or kiss is a reward you'll never want to give away. 

I hope this painting stirs up and revives the emotions that time may have hidden away, bringing back to life the tender moments when fathers and sons, dads and daughters, bonded and grew together - even as the years have flown by.

Hold onto these precious memories because one day, the magic of their tiny kisses may become lost in the mists of yesteryear.
