I live in an area where we have a few beautiful sunflower fields. While visiting on of them, I happened across a huge sunflower. I simply stopped where I was and waited until the sunlight moved into just the right position (nearly an hour) and, as soon as I captured this beauty, I thought something similar to: 'This must be what it would look like in a world where light was alive.'

If you ever get to Daphne or Fairhope, AL in the spring or early Summer you need to visit the Sunflower Fields. Bring a camera. You won't regret it.
