When I created this, I wanted to convey that even when your heart feels shattered into a thousand tiny shards, there is hope for healing. It might take time—sometimes years—but with patience and willingness, the Great Mender can repair your heart. The fragmented, colorful patterns in the background add to the complexity and beauty of this journey.

The heart, depicted in a mosaic-like pattern with vibrant colors, symbolizes the journey from brokenness to healing. The deep blues and purples on one side transition to warm yellows and oranges on the other, representing the process of mending and finding joy again.

It’s a reminder that no matter how broken we feel, there is always a path to wholeness and joy. I hope this painting brings comfort and inspiration to anyone who sees it, reminding them that healing is possible. The original was a Valentine's gift for a couple who had gone through a situation that fractured their relationship but, with counseling and work, it was mended.
