Not long ago, I was invited to submit a painting for a magazine article on the theme of death. One of the categories was “Females,” which I interpreted as a call for a female representation of death, diverging from the traditional male symbol. This inspired me to create ‘Lady Death,’ a figure adorned with symbols representing death from various cultures, both real and imaginary.

The process was incredibly rewarding and pushed me to think outside the box. Although I didn’t win, I placed very high, and the experience was immensely enjoyable.
