Corrie loves Dandy the Duck. They've been together since he was hatched. It’s a sweet little snapshot of Corrie and her best buddy, Dandy the duck. Corrie’s mom asked me to create this from a bunch of photos she shared, and I just loved how Dandy would sit right in Corrie’s lap while she rocked. There’s something so special about farm life, and I wanted to capture that quiet, tender moment between them. As I was painting this, I imagined being able to feel the gentle rocking and hear the soft quacks. It’s a simple, heartwarming scene that, I hope, really speaks to the bond they share.
