Electric Spider

This piece is a fun nod to Philip K. Dick’s “Electric Dreams,” even though he doesn’t write about any such creature. I took the title quite literally and imagined what an electric dream might look like. The vibrant reds, greens, and yellows are meant to give this spider a dynamic, almost otherworldly feel, as if it’s charged with electricity.

The idea was to create something that feels alive and buzzing with energy, much like the imaginative worlds Dick creates in his stories. It’s a playful take on the concept, blending the familiar with the fantastical. I hope it sparks a bit of that same sense of wonder and curiosity in you!
