Doctor Who has been a staple of British entertainment for decades. It's seen a revival because a new generation of American viewers has begun to enjoy it. I was introduced to Doctor Who when Tom Baker (the 4th Doctor) was in his last few seasons. Thanks to his masterful interpretation, my interest in science fiction was piqued, and I've been a fan ever since.

This piece of fan art came about as I was rewatching some Classic Doctor Who shows. I'm not certain what comment was made but, immediately, I had a vision of a multitude of earth's that might not only be created by branching timelines but those that could be visited.

The multi-colored earths represent alternative or parallel realities whereas the darker ones represent history 'as we know it.' And, of course, the Tardis is in the middle of them all! She's such a great presence. If you don't own a time travel machine, let this print and your imagination transport you somewhere and somewhen else.

This one of the only 'paintings' I've done that is digital (i.e., not analog/traditional). I chose to do it this way because I wanted super crisp lines and the ability to quickly space the worlds out evenly.
